Allene Brown

Allene E. Brown, 82, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday morning November 6, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James R Brown, and parents, E. B. & Zelda Ellenburg. She was a member Ball Camp Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a unique relationship with each of them. She had many hobbies; her favorites were traveling, beach combing, and exploring lighthouses. We will forever cherish our memories of her. She leaves here on earth, son Michael Brown and wife Donna, daughter Rhonda Alred and husband John, and son Chris Brown and wife Cheree, grandchildren, Matthew, Katy, Erica, Kerry, Tyler, Tiffany and Jeremy, also best friend Plena Boatman. We would like to thank the staff at Ben Atchley Veterans Home and caregivers, Georgeann Henegar and Renee' Regal. We will have a private graveside service with family and her friends at Edgewood Cemetery on Friday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Ed-Sunday Winters officiating.
