Alva Gentry Whitmore, 69, of Hwy 11 East,.Lenoir City passed away suddenly Wednesday.- September 5, 2012. Alva was former Employee of the Knox. Co. School System and preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Maude Lynn Gentry: brother, V.L. Gentry : sisters, Marie Shafer and Minnie Gentry. survivors; husband, Edward Whitmore.; daughter, Dyann Pritchett and husband, Donald, Senoia, Ga. son, Frank Green Jr. Loudon; stepdaughter, Vicki Bennett and husband David, of Maryville; 3 grandchildren, Cory, Sierra and Samantha. brothers and spouses; Butch and Margaret Gentry, of Philadelphia. Bruner and Linda Gentry, of Vonore, Charles and Betty Gentry of Madisonville. sister-in-law, Sue Gentry, Vonore: Nieces and Nephews.
