Ann Abel

Ann Lee (Jaquith) Abel, 69, of Greenback, TN, passed away on February 24, 2023. 

Ann was born on May 14, 1953, in Bryan, OH to parents Charles “Dick’ and Virginia Jaquith. After Ann attended Bryan High School, she completed a business degree from Cleveland State Community College, graduating with honors. She loved her family dearly, provided a home for many rescued animals, and enjoyed sending gifts to others. Ann had numerous diverse passions from singing and playing the piano to driving fast cars and riding motorcycles. 

Ann is preceded in death by her parents and paternal and maternal grandparents. 

She is survived by her husband of 46 years Keith Abel; her children David (Jen) Abel, Step-Daughter Stephanie (Donnie) Tindell, Ken Abel, and Jamiee (Tyler) Cartwright; her sister Jan (Tom) Stokes; her niece Lindsey (Daniel) New; her Great Nephew Dylan New; her grandchildren, Kiersten (Keith) Menchhofer, Elizabeth (Dustin) Westerfield, Zach Abel, Gabriel Abel, Emma Cartwright, Molly Abel, Ashley Tindell, Tyler (Jess) Tindell; and her great-grandchildren, Travis Menchhofer, Evelyn Rose Menchhofer, Jason Tindell, William Tindell, and Tanner Tindell. 

In lieu of a service, Ann has chosen cremation, and for her family to hold a private gathering to honor her life as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. 

In remembrance of Ann’s life, the family asks that donations be made to an animal shelter of your choosing.
