Anna Ruth Smith Parks of Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, July 24, at Sweetwater Hospital. She was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church. She was 94. Preceded in death by: sons, Jerry Parks and James Michael Parks; grandsons, Joseph Burgess and Brent Parks; great-grandsons, James Benton and Dick Burgess. Survivors include: daughter-Georgia Holloway and husband, Raymond of Sweetwater; Rick Parks and wife, Janice of Philadelphia; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sisters-Wilma Young of Sweetwater; and Charlotte Sircey of Louisiana. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, in Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Wilson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday at Reed Springs Cemetery for graveside services. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., before Tuesday services. Loudon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
