Arvil J. Nichols 86, of Sweetwater passed away February 1, 2016 at Sweetwater Nursing Center. A Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. Arvil is preceded in death by; parents, Wesley and Illie (Cline) Nichols; wife, Myrtle Henrietta Nichols; daughter, Teresa Nichols; son, Timothy Arvil Nichols; sister, Bernice Miller; and brother, Reed Nichols. Survivors; son, Chris Nichols; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Priscilla Martin; brothers, L.H. Nichols and Calloway Nichols; several nieces and nephews. Family and Friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sweetwater Memory Gardens for Graveside service with Rev. Andy Nichols officiating. Military honors by V.F.W. Post 5156 and D.V.A. Chapter 93. Family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday at Loudon Funeral Home. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
