Beverly Raby

Beverly Walls Raby of Cedar Fork Community in Philadelphia entered her heavenly home on December 10th, 2023, at the age of 73. She was of Baptist faith. Being a mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother was the joy of her life. Her love for people, and decorating brought her together with a company in the 80’s and 90’s many knew as Home Interiors & Gifts. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bernice Walls, infant sister; Carol Jannet Walls, grandparents; Bruce and Mae Frank, John and Martha Walls, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Raby. Daughter Teresa Pistole and son Michael Raby and Sophia Massong, sister; Betty Guider and Melvin, grandson; Jamie Pistole and Ashlea Michael, granddaughter; Jessica Cranfield and Jake, great-grandchildren; Bayleigh, Alexis and Tyler Pistole, Leah and Kayson Cranfield; and several brothers in law and sisters in law.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Cedar Fork Cemetery.

Beverly wrote a poem a few years ago that is on the monument, she wanted to share it with you.  

Remember Me

Once I lived there like you, I loved, laughed, and worked each day through. 

My children, grand ones and great made life happier and complete. 

Days past as quickly by, enjoy life before you have to say goodbye. 

Time come for me to leave, through pearly gates my new home I’ll be. 

When you arrive there with me together forever in heaven we will be. 

Remember me, I once was there.
