Bill Hughes

Bill Hughes, age 71 of Loudon, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Bill retired from Maremont after many years. He was an avid golfer, loved hunting and working in his garden. 

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Elsie Hughes; son, Ollie Hughes; brother, Ronnie Hughes. He is survived by his brother, Floyd Hughes and wife Judy; nephews, Shane Hughes, Jeff Hughes and B.J. Hughes; nieces, Shena Gilmore and Tammy Newbowles; great-niece, Nickie Gilmore; special friend, Donna Leonard. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Clint Green officiating. Graveside service will be at 3:00 pm Friday, April 21, 2023 at Valley View Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
