Bobby Massey Sr.

Bobby Lynn Massey Sr., age 74 of Loudon, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019.  Bobby was a United States Army Veteran, Past Commander and lifetime member of American Legion Post 120, and he was also a member of National Box Car Association 40 and 8. Bobby is preceded in death by son, Mark Massey; Parents, Richard “Buck” Massey and Edith Hicks; Brother, Richard Massey; Sister, Patricia Watkins.He is survived by children, Sharon Brewer, Bobby Lynn Massey Jr. and Carol Thaxton, Robert Jeff Massey; Ex-wife, Nancy Downs; Brother, Jimmy Joe Hicks; Sister, Brenda Hicks; Grandchildren, Robert Brewer, Samantha Brewer, Kansas Waugh; Best friends, David Simpson and Benny Worley; Several Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service at 7pm Rev. Gary Cook officiating.  Graveside service will be 12pm Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery.  Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is honored to serve the Massey family.
