Brenda Cunningham

Brenda I. (Shirk) Cunningham, 65 of Philadelphia, went to her heavenly home Monday, February 1, 2016. She was a member of Philadelphia First Baptist Church and was an employee of Viskase Corporation for 30 years. Preceded in death by her parents, William (Dub) and Geneva (Gee) Shirk; sister, Patricia Cowart; mother-in-law, Nola Ricker; father-in-law, Earl Cunningham; sister-in-law, Kay Cunningham; niece, Dianna Mayfield and great-nephew, Shaun Collins. Survivors: husband, William Cunningham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Shirk and Carol, William (Bill) Shirk and Melissa, of Loudon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patrina Walker and Freddie Gene, Lisa Bridges and Jim, of Loudon; brothers-in-law, Dale Cunningham, Loudon, Wally Cunningham and wife, Shirley, of Decatur; sister-in-law, Sherri Franklin and husband, Gary, of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral service 7 pm Wednesday, First Baptist Church, Philadelphia, with Rev. Brian Courtney and Rev. Rick Harrell officiating. Graveside service 11 am Thursday, Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
