AKINS, CHARLES ROY "TWEETSIE" - 81 of Loudon, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011. Tweetsie was a well know Loudon resident and oldest member of Riverview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Mable Akins; parents, John R. and Mary Jane Tiller Akins; sister, Ruby Sutton; brothers Burl Akins, Burton and Ermon Taylor. Survivors: grandchildren, Dennis and Barbara Stewart, Loudon, Glenda and Don Kiser, Lenoir City; great grandchildren, Amber and Daniel Curtis, Jessica and Lucius Meredith, Donna Kiser, Jonathan and Kristie Kiser, Heather and Doug Graham; two great great grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Sherman and Evelyn Akins, Loudon. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Thursday Riverview Baptist Church, Rev. Gene Farmer, Rev. Gene Russell and Rev. Joe Watson officiating. Interment Steekee Cemetery.
