Charles Eldridge

Charles Douglas Eldridge 91, of Loudon passed away peacefully Thursday morning, January 12, 2012 at Ft. Loudoun Medical Center. Charles was a veteran of WWII serving on the island of Okinawa and a member of New Providence Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Union carbide, Loudon and preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie McWhorter Eldridge; parents, Wilson and Bertie Jaynes Andrson, Roy Eldridge. Survivors; two sons, Doug Eldridge and wife, Judy of Hampton, Ga. And Don Eldridge, Loudon; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Eldridge, California.
