HARRIS, CHARLES - 79 of Loudon, passed away Saturday evening, April 21, 2012 at Renaissance Terrace Care, Harriman. Charles was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired employee of Maremont. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Addie Sherrill Harris; brothers, Cleve and Orbin Harris; sister, Naomi Hobbs. Survivors: wife of 58 years, Edna Sledge Harris; sister, Imogene Robinson, Athens; sisters in law, Ruth Harris, Philadelphia, Mae Sledge and Rose Pierce, Sweetwater; nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:00 p.m. Monday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Harris, Rev. Ronnie Maples and Rev. Sammy Thomas officiating. Interment 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Sweetwater Memory Gardens.
