Charles Eugene (Gene) McDonald 70, of Loudon, Tn a native of Loudon County, he was a son of the late Earnest and Grace McDonald. He was a retired from Maremont where he built and painted Cherry Bomb Mufflers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his second wife, Frances C. McDonald , two brothers, Earnest J. McDonald and Doyle McDonald, his son, Darrell McDonald and his sister, Evelyn McDonald and special uncle and aunt, Homer and Minnie McDonald. Survivors, wife, Evelyn McDonald, five daughters, Debra Russell and husband Buddy, Shannon Ridenour, Lori Joslin and Kim Hembree, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, brother, James M.(Jimmy) McDonald and wife Tonya, sisters, Violet Millsaps, and Katheryne (Kathey) Sheehan and husband Melvin, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7 p.m. Sunday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Cook officiating Interment 1:30 p.m. Monday Corinth Cemetery Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m Sunday prior to the service at Loudon Funeral Home. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
