Charles Miller

MILLER, CHARLES W, Retired Master Sergeant, U. S. Air Force, went home to be with the Lord March 16, 2014 after an extended illness. Preceded in death by parents, James Miller and Ella Mae Conner; former wife, Betty Alice Walker; daughter, Karen; siblings, Edward, Hubert, and Floyd. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Freida Jo; sons, Gary of Tuscaloosa and James (Barbara) of Knoxville; siblings, Grace McCarter (Jack), Melvin, and Ben; step daughters, Ava Douglas and Tammy Phillips (John); grandchildren, Ashley (Christopher), Megan, and Collin Miller, Jackson Beggs, John Crawford (Devonny), Madeline Phillips; and special friends Frieda Cottongin and Charlotte and Alan Denton. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, at Loudon Funeral Home from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Pastor Becky Milligan will preside over the graveside service Thursday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Solway United Methodist Church.
