Charles White

July 29, 1938 — March 12, 2014

White, Charles E. (Jam-up) Sr. - age 75 of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at UT Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon H. and Maggie Agnes White; and sister, Judith Overton. Survived by devoted wife of 55 years, Judy Black White; son, Charles E. (Butch) White, Jr.; daughters, Tracy Riazzi and husband Michael of Melbourne, FL and Amy Corn and Mike of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Corn and Patrick Charles Riazzi. Jam-up was a man of strong faith and a dedicated husband, father and grandfather with family members and friends too numerous to mention. Jam-up was a long time resident and supporter of the Loudon community through various organizations and charities, a graduate of Loudon High School class of 1957 and a retired 46 year employee of Viskase Corporation. He was an active member of Loudon Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Men's Fellowship group. Jam-up was an avid golfer and Chairman of the Board of Riverview Golf Course. He was on the Board of Directors and past Chairman of Foothills Federal Credit Union and a member of the Loudon Lion's Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Helping Hands Fund of Loudon Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 503 College Street, Loudon, TN, 37774. The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 pm Friday at Loudon Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm with Reverend Nick Coker officiating. Graveside services 11:00 am Saturday at Corinth Cemetery. Pallbearers: Raymond (Rusty) Clowers, Raymond Giles, Kenneth Hillard, Bill Mills, Joe Mourfield and John Napier.
