Charlie Lawhon

Charlie Samuel “Sam” Lawhon, age 69 of Paint Rock, passed away on Sunday, September 25th, 2022.  Sam enjoyed fishing, tinkering on old cars and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Sam was preceded in death by parents, Rev. Joe and Mary Ruth Lawhon; Brothers, Claude and Freddy Lawhon; Sister, Anna Grace Lawson.  He is survived by wife, Barbara Lawhon; Children, Angie Summey and husband Barry, Tommy Lawhon; Grandson, Cody Tilley; Great Granddaughter; Natalie Tilley; Siblings, Clarence Lawhon, Elizabeth Thomas, Mary Sue Hodge, George Lawhon, Martha Brickey, Bonnie Barber. Sam is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 7 PM. The graveside service will be on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11 AM at Paint Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
