Dale Raby

RABY, DALE BRADLEY - 56 of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly Monday, April 5, 2010 doing what he loved best --fishing. Dale was an avid fisherman and longtime member of the Smokey Mountain Bass Anglers. Dale had been fishing since age 3 and fished many local and regional bass tournaments, as well as serving as a local guide for many who were new to the area. Member of Grassy Valley Baptist Church, 1971 graduate of Farragut High School, huge fan of bluegrass gospel music, loved working in his vegetable garden. He will be missed by all his friends and family for his great sense of humor and quick wit. Preceded in death by his parents, Leon & Anna Ruth Tilley Raby; sisters, Sandra & Janet Raby; grandparents, James & Carrie Raby & Ed & Alice Tilley. Survivors: wife, Ann Myers Raby; sons, Michael & Bradley Raby; step mom, Nina Raby; mother in law, Helen Myers; brother, David Raby; sisters & brothers in law, Karen & Gerrand Kinzalow, Pamela & Steve Hunter and Melissa Raby; brother in law, David Myers & wife, Lyn; nieces, Kara, Yolanda & Nicole; nephews, Danny, Justin, Stevie, Seth and Darren; several aunts & uncles. Funeral services 7 p.m. Thursday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jim Seaton officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Friday Lakeview Cemetery, Lenoir City. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday Loudon Funeral Home.
