Danny Cox

Danny Lee Cox, 63 of Philadelphia passed away Thursday afternoon at his home. He was a retired employee of Transport Service Co. and a member of Lick Creek Valley Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Homer Lee Cox and several aunts and uncles. Survivors; wife, Sharon Cox; sons, Craig and Beth Cox of Elizabethton, Kenneth and Shelley Cox of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brittany Bates, Morgan, Noah, Taylor and Olivia Cox; mother, Jackie Cox of Mosheim; sisters, Dantia Bailey and Donna Ervin of Moshein; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 pm Monday at Mount Sinai Church with Rev. Virgil Davis and Rev. Charles Ervin officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Sinai Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday 12:30 - 2 prior to the service. Friends may also visit at Loudon Funeral Home, Sunday, 2 - 4pm. Arrangements provided by Loudon Funeral Home.
