Deane Bowyer

Deane Murray Bowyer, 89, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014 in Seale, Alabama. Deane was a long-time member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed time spent antiquing. She is preceded in death by her husband; Dr. Frank P. Bowyer of Knoxville, parents Mynatt and MaryAnn Murray, 4 brothers, and 1 sister. Deane is survived by her three children Carolyn Curry and husband Douglas of Seale, AL, Gail Rackley of Knoxville and David Woods and wife Velvia of Mesa, AZ. She was especially proud of her 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin sister Jean Murray Foster. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Monday at Ball Camp Baptist Church in Knoxville, with Rev. David Woods officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 10:00 am Tuesday for graveside service and interment at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN. Family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 pm prior to the funeral service.
