Deloris McAmis

Deloris Ann Pruitt McAmis, age 74 of Lenoir City, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. She loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to be on the beach and collecting seashells. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey Hope Walter Hensley; mother, Mildred Pruitt; step-father, Joe Awalt; grandparents, Myrtle and John Pruitt; sisters, Doris Lee Turner and Willie Mae Longwith. She is survived by her husband, Billy H. McAmis “Poppy”; granddaughters, Teresa Hensley, Brittnee Johnson and husband Jeremy; brothers, Joey Awalt, Mike Awalt and George Awalt; niece, Andrea Tallent; nephew, Scotty McAmis; cousin, Tim Longwith; great-grandchildren, Camden Roach, Travis Watson, Madelyn Watson, Addie Johnson, Chloe Johnson and Cole Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7pm.
