Dennis Rice

October 13, 1944 — September 29, 2014

Dennis K. Rice, age 69 of Paint Rock, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. He was an employee of Whitestone Country Inn and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Victorine Plouvier Rice; sisters, Norma Kufus and Joyce Hilebrand. Mr. Rice is survived by his wife Linda Whitley Rice, three sons Joshua of Ohio, Jonathan of Vermont and David and Wendy Rice of Michigan; grandsons, Joshiah and Jonah Rice; brothers Jim and Mel Rice of California and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 8 at 7:00 pm in the Whitestone Chapel of the Good Shepherd. Friends are welcome to visit 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Chapel of the Good Shepherd 1200 Paint Rock Road Kingston, TN 37763 for the Dennis Rice Family Fund.
