TOWNSEND, DENNIS - 69 of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Dennie was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church and preceded in death by parents, Bonnie & Marjorie Hooker Townsend. Survivors, wife, Pat Nix Townsend; children and spouses, Jerry and Linda Townsend, Virginia, Denise and Gary Quillen, Jeff and Christine Townsend, Loudon, Lance and Donna Townsend, Knoxville, Paisley and Jim Rohen, Friendsville; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Fred (Paula) Townsend, Maryville; sisters, Wanda and Lewis Hudson, Atlanta, Loretta McKinley, SC, Donna and Rick Hamil and Elizabeth Morgan, Loudon. Family will receive friends 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. Friday at New Macedonia Baptist Church prior to services at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Bill White and Rev. Danny Thornburg officiating.
