Donnie Russell

Russell, Donnie E., age 54 of Loudon passed away Thursday, September 11 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of the Loudon High School state championship basketball team where he was known as "Big Don Russell, 6' 2" Sophomore out of Loudon County TN. " After graduation he served in the United States Army. Proceeded in death by father V. L. (Feebee) Russell, mother Faye Sitzlar Sleeper and brother in law Jasper Russell. Survivors: Billie Jean Russell, brother Murphy Pennington and fiancé' Linda Presley; nieces Lindsey Pennington and Kyla Presley; nephew Isaiah Presley; sister Connie Russell; stepsons Tim Price and wife Alice, Tony Price and wife Crystal; Step-grandchildren Ryan, Ashton, Brooke and Blake Price. Leslie Skinner and children. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle, aunts and long time friends. Funeral services 7:00 pm Sunday, Loudon Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Graveside service 10:30 am Monday at Prospect Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
