Dorothy Jane Dills Purdy, age 82 of Loudon, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, May 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was a faithful member of New Providence Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by husband; Arthur Tuck, father; Pete Dills, mother; Marie Kerr Tate, siblings; Roger Tate, Deloris Largen, and Linda Best.
She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Henry Purdy Jr., son; Tim Tuck and wife Tracy, daughter, Dawn Walden and husband Mike, step-children; Rick Purdy and wife Kay, Kim Galyon, Henry Purdy III, Jeff Purdy, Retha Bell and husband Jack, and Letha Humphreys and husband Randy, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings; Allen Dills and Margie Fagg. She also leaves behind several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 2-4pm at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4pm with Brother Willie Morris and Preacher Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Ryan Moore officiating.
