Dwayne Baker

Dwayne Baker, age 53 of Athens, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He loved the outdoors, cooking with cast iron cookware; and was very active in boy scouts when his children were young. He was a member of North Englewood Baptist Church. Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Kathryn Baker; mother-in-law and friend, Kay Walden. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Baker; children, Lucas Baker and wife Katie, Tesia Baker and Chris Ballinger, Brittney Childs, Aaron Childs and wife Hannah and Annmarie King; grandson, Remy Ballinger; brother, Junior Baker and wife Tanjelia; sisters, Angela Siskey and husband Jon, Barbara Stewart and Brian Garrard; father-in-law, Willard Walden; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5-7p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Michael Britton officiating. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at High Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
