Earl Hill

Earl “Leon” Hill, age 64, of Sunnyside Road went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday December 26, 2021 at his residence with his family by his side. He was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church. He was a great husband, father, son, brother,  a loving “pap” and a hard worker. He was an avid Tennessee football fan. He was very much loved by his in-laws on the Shubert side.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Hill, brothers; Charles Hill and Kevin Hill, brother-in-law Bobby Laudermilk.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karen Shubert Hill, sons; Derek Hill and wife Stephanie, Cody Hill and wife Samantha, daughter, Crissie Shubert-Hill Sparks and husband Cody,  mother, Ruby Hensley Hill, grandchildren; Alexis Hill, Blake Hill, Kayden Hill and Bryson Sparks, brothers; Ricky Hill (Debbie), Terry Hill, Danny Hill (Lois), sisters; Pam Trentham (Bill), Pat Laudermilk, sister-in-law Cindy Hill. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Also his beloved pets; “Little Bit” and “Bo Hill”.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their care. A special thank you to Nurse Breanna, Patricia Shubert, Jack Breeden, and Stephen Wheelock.

The family will receive friends Wednesday December 29, 2021 from 5-7pm at Reed Springs Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Cody Hill, Rev. Steve McDonald, and Rev. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday December 30, 2021 at 11am at Reed Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
