BLACK, EARNEST DARROL "ERNIE", SR. - 78 of 200 Key Kile Road, Sweetwater, passed away Saturday evening, March 8, 2014 at Sweetwater Hospital. Ernie was retired from Viskase Corporation, Loudon and was a charter member of Central Baptist Church, Loudon. During his retirement years, he was an active member of Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church, Sweetwater. Preceded in death by his parents, King & Edna Black; infant sister, Katherine Black; brothers, Lloyd & Leo Black. Survivors: wife of 58 years, Patsy Davis Black; sons, Ernie, Jr. & wife, Susan, David Black; daughters, Ann Johnson & husband, Phillip and Regina Russell; host of grandchildren & great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the family home on Tuesday March 11 from 12 noon-7:00 p.m. there will be no funeral service. The family requests that flowers not be sent, but would appreciate prayers for peace and comfort in the coming days.
