Edd. J. "Sarge" Worley, age 71, born September 14, 1944 and passed away Thursday evening, July 21, 2016. He served in the U.S. Army for 25 years and was currently a member of the National Guard. Preceded in death by parents, John Edward and Edith Mae (Jones) Worley; infant sister, Shelby Jean Worley; brother-in-law, Bobby Wagner; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Geneva Smallen. Survivors: wife, Virginia Smallen Worley; sons, Mike (Angela) Worley, of Lenoir City, and Eddie (Michelle) Worley, of Loudon; sisters, Mary Katherine Lynn, of Warren, OH, Jewel (Jim) Fagg, Lois Wagner, and Linda (Charles) Palmer, all of Loudon; brothers, Benny Lee Worley, of Philadelphia, and Terry Eugene (Kathy) Worley, of Sweetwater; three grandchildren; brother-in-law, Joe Smallen; and sisters-in-law, Anna Belle Tate and Carolyn Knox. Funeral Service will be 7:00 pm Saturday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Cook and Rev. Danny Thornburg officiating. Graveside service, Sunday, 2:00 pm, Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
