HICKS, EDITH WATTS - 82, of West Lee Hwy., Loudon, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2010 at U.T. Hospital. Edith was a long time member of V.F.W. Post 5150 and American Legion Post #120, Loudon. Preceded in death by husband, R.J. "Cobb" Hicks; daughter, Patty Watkins; parents, Willie and Leo Justice Watts; brother, Charlie Watts. Survivors, special friend, Eddie Akins; daughter, Brenda Hill, Lenoir City; sons, Richard Massey, Bobby Massy and Jimmy Joe Hicks, special friend, Cindy Nix, Loudon; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services 7 p.m. Wednesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Sammy Thomas officiating. Interment 10:30 a.m. Thursday Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation: 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday Loudon Funeral Home
