Edith Huff

Edith Casteel Presley Huff, age 93 of Loudon, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Woods Village in Sweetwater. Edith was a lifelong member of Corinth Baptist Church. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 10 and lived a Christian life. Edith was co-owner of Edith and Frances Beauty Shop until she retired in 1981 to travel.

She is preceded in death by her husbands; Dewey (Jerry) Presley and Roy Huff, parents; James Gordon Casteel and Perry Mae Allmon Casteel, sisters; Frances Rymer, Grace McDonald, Frankie McCollister, brothers; Jesse Casteel, James Casteel, and Melvin Casteel.

Edith is survived by her son, Jerry Presley and wife Mona, grandchildren; Amanda Hensley and husband Ryan, Shannon Nephew and husband Jim, Heather Wortman and husband Scott, great-grandsons; Kenny, Brayden, Jace, Jameson, Hunter, Maverick, McKinley, sister-in-laws; Betty Casteel and Barbara Casteel McCrary, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Adam Cook and Rev. Gary Cook officiating. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11am at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
