Eldred Davis Smith

Eldred Davis Smith, age 92 of Loudon, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2023. She was a member of Blairland Baptist Church. She retired from the City of Loudon as the City Recorder. 

Eldred was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Smith; parents, Florence and Arthur Davis and brother, Merrill Davis.  She is survived by daughter, Kay Smith Arp and husband Doyle; son, Marvin Smith and wife Erica; grandchildren, Perry Holt, Lee Holt, and Maria Smith; step-grandchildren, Rick Arp and wife April, Rebecca McBride and husband Bobby, Ronnie Arp and wife Sharon; step great-grandchildren, R.T. and Alex McBride, Ellie, Cole, and Eslyn Arp, and Randy Arp; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Wood Village for their care and compassion during her time there.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Blairland Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm. with Pastor Jon Henson presiding. Interment will be in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.
