GARNER, ELMER "BUNK"- 85, of Watkins Road, Loudon passed away Sunday - January 30, 2011. Bunk was a charter member of Jackson Chapel Baptist Church & chairman of the Deacon Board. He was retired from Maremont Corp., veteran of the Navy WWII, & a talented cabinet maker. Preceded in death by wife, Katie Ruth Lawson Garner; parents, Wiley & Callie Lynn Garner. Survivors, daughters, Gail Oran & husband Steve, Loudon, Betty Mullins & husband Joe, Atlanta; sons, Terry Garner & wife Martha, Ronnie Garner & wife Deb, Loudon; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Funeral services 7 p.m. Monday Jackson Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Rick Kirkland & Rev. Rod Miller officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday Union Fork Creek Cemetery.
