Eunice Giles

GILES, EUNICE PORTER - 98 of Loudon, passed away Monday morning, March 31, 2014 at home. Beloved mother, mother in law and mamaw. She was a member of Union Fork Creek Baptist Church and organist for over 50 years. Mrs. Eunice was a nurse with Dr. J.R. Watkins and retired employee of Yale & Towne. Preceded in death by husband, Elmer Giles; parents, John C. & Dora Schaffer Porter; three brothers; four sisters. Survivors: sons & daughter in law, Bernard and Jean Giles, Bobby and Polly Giles, Loudon; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Skidmore, Knoxville, Helena Shupp & husband, George, Loudon; nieces & nephews. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Wednesday Union Fork Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Simpson, Rev. Donnie Houston & Rev. Alvin Patton officiating. Interment Union Fork Cemetery.
