Freida Buckner

Freida Nell Buckner, age 95 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Loudon for over 65 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Hugh Buckner; son, Danny Hugh; and mother, Alice Hooker. She is survived by daughter, Lucinda Buckner; sons, Jerry Buckner and Terry Buckner; grandson, Mitch Buckner and wife Brittany; granddaughters, Jada Buckner, Nacole Monger Courtley and husband Scott, Heather Donaho, Ashley Buckner, and Amanda Lynn; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Preston, Jayden, Jace, Jasmine, Jaxon, Ashayla, Ashia, Caitlin, Caleb, Jacob, Evan, Alexis, Lennox, and Lincoln; great-great-grandson, Tripp; sister Polly Wampler; nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to thank niece, Carolyn Nichols, Shirley Buckner, Alycia Harrison and Marie Anderson for caring for Freida. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dan Harrison officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Steekee Cemetery.
