RUSSELL, GENEVIA - 92, of Loudon. Passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by father and mother, Frank and Manie Warrick Shubert; brother, Jody Shubert; sisters, Lelah Hellen and Viola Shubert, Edith Pickel, Una Arden and husband, John C. Russell and sons, Dewayne Russell and Johnny Ray Russell; daughter, Gina Faye Hodge; granddaughter, Angel Hodge; grandsons, Tony Russell and Richard Tilley. Survivors: children, Leroy and Mildred Russell, Philadelphia, Ann and Paul Tilley, Athens, Betty and Leonard Meddings, Loudon; Cathy and J.R. Chadwell of Loudon; sisters, Sue Veal, Josie Collins; daughter-in-law Anna Russell, Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jamie Lennex, Tommy Russell, Tammy Croft, Kristie Ervin, Hope Helms, Connie Brandon, Terry Ray Earls, Jake Earls, Dewayne Meddings, Bruce Meddings, Angel Meddings, Richard Brotherton, Danielle Gribble, Paula Travis, thirty-one great grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren. Special nieces and nephews: Norman and Doris Worley and Marshall and Barbara Arden. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Home Health Care and Hospice of East Tennessee. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Kirkland and Rev. Oley Russell officiating.Interment to follow in the church cemetery.The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
