Georgia Lawson

Georgia Scott Lawson, age 83 of Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She will miss her Brutons snuff and black coffee. She loved to sing and play guitar. Georgia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Doc” Lawson; daughter, Connie Gail Allmon; brothers, Toby Scott, Dickie Scott and an infant brother; sisters, Shay and James Limburg, Lillian Scott and Darlin and Ed Limburg. She is survived by children, James Larry Allmon and wife Lori, Ronnie Dale Allmon and wife Joyce, Tommy Lynn Allmon and wife Gina, Kevin Edward Allmon and wife Melinda, Kimberly Allmon; grandsons, Brandon Watts and wife Tasha, Josh Smith, Brad and Cain Allmon; granddaughters, Wendy Jo Allmon, Emily and Ashley Allmon; several great-grandchildren; brother, Fuzzy Scott; Several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to extend a thank you to everyone that has comforted the family during this difficult time.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. The graveside will be 1 PM Thursday, February 3, 2022  at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
