Herbert Oody

Herbert Gene Oody, age 77 of Loudon, went home on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Herbert loved his grandchildren and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Agnes Oody; brothers, Joseph Ray Oody, James “Darb” Oody, Wayne Oody and wife Betty.

Herbert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Oody; sons, Jeff Oody and wife M’recia, Jason Oody and wife Kimberlee; grandchildren, Tyler Oody and wife Courtney, Madison Oody, Grace Oody, Jaxon Oody; great-grandchild, Hayes Oody; sister-in-law Linda Oody; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside service will be held at 2pm Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Valley View Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Davis and Rev. Clint Green officiating.
