Imogene Malone

Imogene Stamey Malone, age 90, went to her heavenly home on August 9, 2021.  She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.  She loved her church and church family. A great christian lady who loved the Lord and helping others. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Della Ricker; sisters, Margaret Gray, Bernice Yates, Lula Belle Moses and Hazel Johnson; former husbands, Homer Stamey and Eugene “Apple” Malone. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Robert Self and Barbara and Mike Davis; granddaughter, Latosha and Brad Crowder; great grandchildren, Bradyn and Jacob Crowder; many nieces, nephews and extended family members and many friends; and special friend, George “Sog” Moses.

The funeral service will be 7 PM Thursday, August 12, 2021 in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Davis, Rev. Gary Cook and Rev. Clint Green will be officiating.  Graveside service will be 11 AM Friday, August 13, 2021 at Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM Thursday prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.loudonfuneralhome.net.
