Ira Sue Bunch

Mrs. Ira Sue Raby Bunch, age 74, of Dalton Ga, formerly of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 4:55 pm. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Edward and Mrs. Louise Bright Raby, born in Loudon, Tn on Tuesday, March 7, 1950. Sue was a very easy going, Lord loving, peace keeping, willing to help anyone any way she possibly could special soul. She was an avid nature lover! She spent alot of her free time on her rose bushes, in her flower garden, working outside in the yard, and watching her hummingbirds. Her “Happy Place” was the mountains with her sister by choice, Deana Lively of 67 years! Sue loved to camp, relax, and listen to the sounds of the river and the beach. But more than anything, she loved her family and friends dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Bunch; her 2 brothers Paul(Buddy) and David Raby, and her sister Mary Ann Raby (Smiley). She is survived by her daughters Robin Bunch Hand and Cindy Quarles; grandchildren Mandy Colter (Anthony), Christian Hope(Matt), Ryan Quarles(Courtney) and Bayli Quarles(Jordan); great grandchildren Braydon, Tayla, and Heston Colter, Keegan and Kolton Hope, Karson Newman, R.J and Owen Quarles, and Rowan Smith; Sister-in-laws Sandy and Patty Raby, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ira Sue Bunch will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1 pm at Loudon Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Jacobs officiating. Family will receive visitors on Saturday from 11-1 pm until service hour. Sue will be laid to rest following the service at Valley View Cemetery.
