On Friday, December 1, about 5:30pm, in Loudon TN, James Earnest Hunt, age 90, took his last breath here on God's green earth. James went home to be with his wife of 70 years, Wilma Inez (Lambert) Hunt, and his Lord. James talked with the Lord about his journey home and he was ready to go. While going, he was cheating the Devil out of another soul. Both James and Wilma had worked hard at Union Carbide (Viskase) and on the farm raising gardens and cattle. They finally retired and were looking forward to enjoying their days together, watching their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and enjoy the life and the blessings of God. James was preceded in death by his parents, J. Earnest Hunt and Harriett (Hicks) Hunt; brother, Kenneth Hunt; two infant sons, Bobby and Johnnie; and his wife, Wilma. Survived by sons, James Eugene Hunt and wife, Dorothy (Jean Ward) Hunt and Kenneth M. Hunt; daughter, Judy Annette (Hunt) Harris; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 7pm Friday, Loudon Funeral Home, with Rev. Charlie Henderson officiating. Family and friends will meet 1pm Saturday at Corinth Cemetery for graveside service. The family will receive friends 5pm - 7pm Friday, prior to the funeral service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
