James Richard "Jim" Johnson, 71 of Buckner Road, Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Life Care of Athens. Jim was a retired welder and member of Johnson Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph & Hazel Lennex Johnson; Grandparents, Will & Mary Lennex. Survivors:Wife, Kim Kyle Johnson; Son Jerry Johnson & wife, Judy of Stockbridge, Georgia ; Stepson.Ramsey Lethcoe, Sweetwater; Sister, Carolyn Morgan, Loudon;Grandson, Jerry Garner & wife Sara, Stockbridge, Ga.; Four Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m.Thursday Johnson Chapel Baptist Church with Rev.Ted Pegram officiating. Interment Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:30 p.m.---2 P.m.
