OODY, JAMES OLIE - 62, of Loudon, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at UT Hospital. James was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Fannie Scott Oody; sisters, Frances Brooks and Lucy Mae Oody; brother, Charles Harrison Oody. Survivors: brothers, William Oody, Newport, Harley (Ellen) Oody, Gilbert, SC and Jack (Mary) Oody, Knoxville; brother-in-law, Alton Brooks, Greeneville; special friend, Cindy Carver, Loudon. Funeral services 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Delbert Humphrey officiating. Family and friends will meet at Corinth Cemetery 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for graveside services. Visitation 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Loudon Funeral Home.
