James Schrimsher

James Stanley Schrimsher He was born September 13, 1937. He passed at home on June 17, 2017.Proceeded in death by son, James Stanley Schrimsher ; Parents, Joseph Stanley (Bear) Schrimsher and mother Margie Ann (Kiser) Schrimsher. Survivors ,wife of 58 years Freda Mae Schrimsher. Daughters; Vanessa and Mike Jones; Dedee Aspell. Grandchildren: Nathan and Brittany Jones (Teagan and Emma Grace); Brandon and Casey Jones; Bryan (Stan) Helton (Elijah ); Hannah Aspell (Jaxson Day)He was a member of Carson Island Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 23 yrs . He was also a member of the South Blount Gideon Camp where he served for 20 yrs sharing God's Word. He also has made numerous trips to Brazil serving as a Volunteer Missionary constructing chapels. His occupation was a carpenter. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Vittatoe officiating. Interment to follow in Reed Springs Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ensor officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 prior to the service. Donations can be made to the South Blount Gideon Camp.
