TATE, JAMES ROGER - 72 of Carding Machine Road, Loudon, passed away Sunday August 29, 2010 at his home. Roger was a retired employee of Loudon Hickory Products and preceded in death by parents, Harvey & Nell Hicks Tate; brothers, Lester & J.E. Tate. Survivors: wife, Anna Belle Smallen Tate; sisters & spouses, Marjorie & Floyd Fagg, Linda & Willie Best, Dorothy & Henry Purdy and Deloris & Tommy Largen, Loudon; brother, Allen Dills, Gastonia, North Carolina; several nieces & nephews; special niece, Jennifer Jones, Sevierville. Funeral services 7 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Gary Cook & Rev. Sammy Thomas officiating. Family & friends will meet 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Riverview Cemetery for graveside services.
