Jane Rodgers

Mary Jane (Brookshire) Rodgers, age 75 of Decatur, TN passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Carl Edward Rodgers; her parents, Earl and Mae (Ritchey) Brookshire; sisters, Louise Mitchell and Pauline Giles; and brothers, Allen and Jack Brookshire. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Randy (Sheila) Miller, of Sweetwater, Jennifer Miller (fiance` Randall), of Knoxville, Tom (Kathy) Rodgers, Wichita, KS, Joseph Rodgers, Augusta, GA, Denise Woody, Wilmington, NC, and Michael (Betsey) Rodgers, of Knoxville. She is also survived by her twin sister, Margie Jean Pope, of Oak Ridge; brother, Harold (Mary) Brookshire, of Knoxville; grandchildren, Monica, Kayla, Rachel, Christopher, Anthony, Shayna, Faith, Liza and Grace; nine great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Faye and Emily Brookshire; brother-in-law, Ed Mitchell; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, from 5pm – 7pm in the east chapel of Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7pm. Rev. Max Redman will be officiating. Graveside service will be 12pm Tuesday, at Steekee Cemetery. Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is honored to serve Mrs. Rodgers family.
