John Coffman Sr.

John Wayne "Johnny" Coffman Sr. 55, of Sweetwater passed away Monday December 3, 2012 at his home after a battle with cancer. Johnny was born in Loudon on June 27, 1957. A veteran of the U.S. Army he is preceded in death by parents, Brunner and Lou Roberts Coffman; brothers, Alvin, George and Bobby. Johnny was a good mechanic in his younger years and loved to fish. He could build or fix anything he put his mind to. Survivors; wife, Karen of Tellico Plains: daughter and son-in-laws, Tamara and Mike Newcomb of Rockford, Tn. , son, John, Jr. and fiancé, Dori Bilbo, of Vonore; step-daughter and husband, Julie and Davey Clark of Reesburg, Wisconsin; stepson, Nathaniel Hampton, of Vonore, Tn: half sisters, Carol Arden and Doris McCulloch of Lenoir City, Tn. 4 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren: nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7 p.m. Thursday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. With Rev. Clarence Hogg officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Friday Corinth Cemetery with Military Honors by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
