John Allen “Butch” Langley went to be with the Lord at the age of 61, in the hospital in Jackson, TN, after a long and courageous battle with liver cirrhosis.
He is survived by his son, Curtis, of Blue Ash, OH and son, Evan, of Lockland, OH; his mother, Shirley Whitehead Langley Steward, of Jackson, TN; his brother, Tony, of Morganton, NC; sister, Leanne Andrews and husband, Keith, of Jefferson City, TN; sister, Patty Easley and husband Clay, of Huntingdon, TN; five grandchildren, Miles, Molly, Leah, Gabriel and Liam. Those who preceded him in death were his father, Roy; his step-father, James Steward and his brother, Roy Jr.
Butch was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. He was an artist and the family and friends treasure many of his paintings. He kept the family laughing with his humor through the years.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Brother Ken Avery officiating. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Watts Cemetery in Loudon.
