John McCallie

MCCALLIE, JOHN ALBERT - 58 of Athens, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at UT Hospital. John was a member of Fork Creek Presbyterian Church, a school teacher at Brown Intermediate School Sweetwater City School system for over 30 years. Son of the late Fred and Mary Josephine McCarthy McCallie. Survivors: brothers, Paul McCallie and wife, Betty, Kingston, Arthur McCallie, Sweetwater and Fred McCallie, Charleston, SC; sisters, Joyce McLean and husband, Fred of Morrow, GA and Mary Russell and husband, Luke of Loudon; host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8:00 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ford King officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Rockville Cemetery, Sweetwater for graveside services. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home.
