John Stallcup

John Estal "Red" Stallcup, 78, went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2015. Estal was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church. He was retired from Loudon Fire Department with 23 years of service. He loved to fish and play bluegrass music and He could always be found in his garage working on some type of wood project. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Bill (Red) and Zena Mae Stallcup; sister, Francis (Toots) Schrimsher; brothers, Roy, Sherman (Gob) and Paul Stallcup. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bobbie Reynolds Stallcup; sons and daughters in law, Johnny & Tuesday Stallcup and Terry & Jamie Stallcup; daughters and son in law, Linda Stallcup, Jane Skinner and Judy & Randy Ritchey; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Ralph & Inez Stallcup. Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Saturday at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Graveside service 2:00 pm Sunday at Reed Springs Cemetery.
