WHALEY, JOHN BRADFORD "J.B." - 91 of Sevierville, formerly of Loudon, passed away suddenly Saturday, November 26, 2011 of injuries received in a fall at his home. J.B. was a contractor having built many of the Holiday Inns across America and a 50 year Masonic member of Tennessee Lodge #204 F&AM, Loudon. He was also a veteran of WWII serving in the US Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith and born in Morgan Co. December 11, 1919. Preceded in death by wives, Zelma Mae Thornburg Whaley & Irene McCarter; parents, Isaac & Frances Kennedy Whaley. Survivors: son, John Bradford Whaley, II & wife, Delone, Wancheese, NC; daughter & son in law, Vicki & Jack Phillips, Spring City, TN; 3 grandchildren, Elana Smith, John Bradford Whaley, III & Jennifer Holadia; 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services 7 p.m. Wednesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Joe Watson officiating. Masonic service by Tennessee Lodge #204 F&AM immediately following funeral services.
